Why Casa exists
Good rooms take a while.
Ours start with the thing you can’t stop looking at: a chair with an impossible profile, a cabinet with wild grain, a lamp that makes the wall look better. The rest can come later.
Let old things argue
with new ones.
A slick sofa needs an older chair beside it. Chrome likes walnut. Serious art can live with a funny lamp. Matching is optional.

A note on patina
We don’t sand the life out of things.
A softened edge tells you where a hand landed. Darkened grain tells you the piece was used, not stored. We keep those marks when they belong there.

- We want to see the grain, the weave, the casting marks—the evidence of how it was made.
- Construction
- We check the joints, the balance, the doors, the drawers, and what happens when you actually sit down.
- Condition
- Old furniture has marks. We photograph and describe the ones you should know about.
Before it reaches the shop
We check the boring stuff.
A good silhouette gets our attention. Then come the measurements, wobbles, old repairs, upholstery, and delivery route—the things that matter once the piece is yours.

If we wouldn’t put it in our own room, we leave it.

Check
We measure it, sit on it, open every door and drawer, and note what time has done.

Photograph
You should know what you’re buying, including the scuffs.

Deliver
Shipping is included in the U.S. We coordinate the rest with you.
