About us · Los Angeles

Casa Bauhaus

Casa Bauhaus is Danny and Ivanna’s Los Angeles furniture shop. We buy vintage pieces we would hate to leave behind: good lines, real materials, and enough personality to carry a room.

We have a weakness for good furniture.

We are Danny and Ivanna, the pair behind Casa Bauhaus. We started the shop around a shared belief that one old piece can do more for a room than a cart full of new ones.

We buy across periods: mid-century walnut, loud postmodern shapes, useful antiques, and objects that resist a tidy label. The date matters. The maker can matter. But neither rescues a dull piece.

What we do before you buy it

Buying furniture online is hard enough. We give you the measurements, condition notes, extra photographs, and a real person to ask.

  1. 01

    Select

If we wouldn’t want it in our own room, we leave it behind.

  2. 02

    Inspect

We measure it, test what moves, and document the marks you should know about.

  3. 03

    Prepare

When work is needed, we fix what needs fixing without erasing the piece’s age.

  4. 04

    Deliver

U.S. in-home delivery is included. International delivery is available by arrangement.

Ask for the unglamorous details.

Need the back of the cabinet, the underside of the chair, or one very specific measurement? Ask. We would rather answer now than surprise you later.
