Shipping policy
Complimentary U.S. shipping is included with every Casa Bauhaus purchase. We coordinate each delivery individually to protect the piece and provide a clear handoff from our collection to your space.
Delivery timing
Estimated delivery is 2 to 30 business days after purchase. This range allows time to match each piece with an appropriate route and carrier. Timing is an estimate rather than a guarantee and can vary based on destination, carrier availability, weather, routing, building access, and the size or handling needs of the item.
We will keep you informed while a carrier is secured and delivery is coordinated. Once scheduled, the carrier or Casa Bauhaus will normally contact you 24 to 48 hours before arrival to confirm the delivery window.
Complimentary delivery service
Orders may be delivered by independent furniture carriers, including providers sourced through UShip, or by Casa Bauhaus delivery partners. We select the service based on the piece, destination, route, and availability.
In-home delivery is coordinated where available and appropriate. Unless confirmed in writing, delivery does not include assembly, installation, wall mounting, electrical work, removal of existing furniture, or packaging removal.
LA-area customers may be offered Casa Bauhaus local delivery or pickup when available. Any available option and timing will be confirmed directly with you.
Before delivery
Please provide an accurate delivery address and a telephone number where you can be reached. Before a carrier is booked, tell us about:
- Stairs, elevators, narrow halls, tight turns, gated access, or limited parking
- Building rules, certificates of insurance, loading-dock reservations, or restricted delivery hours
- Any need for additional personnel, special equipment, or unusually long carrying distances
Please measure doorways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and the intended placement area. Product dimensions are listed to help you confirm fit.
Complimentary shipping covers the delivery service arranged from the information provided at checkout. Additional charges may apply only when access requirements were not disclosed, delivery details change after booking, a delivery is missed, or services beyond the confirmed scope are requested. We will communicate any known additional charge before it is incurred whenever reasonably possible.
Receiving your order
You or an authorized adult age 18 or older must be available to receive the order unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing. Please inspect the piece promptly at delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt when possible.
Do not discard packaging if you see damage. Photograph the item, damaged area, packaging, labels, and delivery receipt, then email hello@casabauhaus.com within 48 hours. Full instructions and available remedies are described in our Refund Policy.
Delays, missed delivery, and storage
Carrier schedules can change because of weather, route adjustments, mechanical issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will communicate material updates as soon as they are available.
If no authorized recipient is available during a confirmed delivery window, or if the location cannot be accessed because disclosed requirements were not met, redelivery and storage fees may apply. Prolonged inability to receive an order may require off-site storage at the buyer's expense.
Address changes
Contact us immediately if the delivery address changes. An address change after carrier booking may cause delay or additional cost and cannot always be accommodated.
International delivery
Complimentary shipping applies to U.S. delivery addresses. International delivery is not included and is available only when confirmed in writing before purchase. The buyer is responsible for international freight, duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage, and import requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
