This striking antique dome-top wooden trunk is rich with history, texture, and visual presence. Substantial in scale and layered with decades of wear, it offers the kind of patina that can’t be replicated—only earned through time and use.

Constructed from solid wood and reinforced with original iron strapping and rivets, the exterior displays extensive surface wear, cracking, and tonal variation that speak to its utilitarian past. Faint painted lettering remains visible, adding to the trunk’s authenticity and character.

The hinged lid opens and closes properly and reveals an interior lined with aged linen or canvas material, consistent with period trunk construction. The original lock hardware is present, though one lock is missing. The trunk does not currently lock.
