About this piece

An elegant late-19th-century oak washstand with a raised gallery back, turned spindle legs, open side towel bars, a compact drawer with ceramic knob, and a useful lower shelf. Originally made to hold a water basin and pitcher, its slender proportions now work beautifully as a bedside table, entry table, bathroom accent, or collected farmhouse piece. The warm oak grain and architectural silhouette give it presence without overwhelming a room.
