A tall, sculptural armchair in the Louis XIII tradition, pairing a high upholstered back and generous seat with gracefully scrolled wood arms, turned supports, shaped front blocks, rounded feet, and a curving X-form stretcher. The tapestry-style upholstery carries a muted geometric and floral pattern in olive, taupe, brown, and soft blue-gray tones, giving the chair an old-world presence without overwhelming a room.

Its unusually tall back and architectural frame make it a strong statement chair for a library, entry, bedroom, or collected living space. The maker, country of origin, wood species, upholstery fiber, and exact date are unknown; no attribution is represented.
